About
A licensee
built like a category owner.
Operation Fandom is the operating spine of a proven wholesale-first licensed-merchandise engine — extended into a turnkey partner brand for rights holders, retailers, and investors.
Origin
The category we already know how to run.
Where the operating model came from.
Operation Fandom is built on the working operating spine of Just Funky — a Fan Fiction Merchandise Manufacturer of the Year with a decade-plus of licensed-goods experience, over 10,000 active retail doors globally, and a wholesale-first model that has scaled programs across every mainstream and specialty channel in North America.
What Operation Fandom does is repackage that engine — the design team, the licensor relationships, the retailer relationships, the compliance stack, the factory network — as a turnkey partner brand that rights holders, retailers, and investors can transact with directly.
Why now.
Licensed-merchandise is a $389.8 billion global market growing at 5.5% year-over-year. Anime alone is a $13.4 billion segment compounding at 8.9% to 2035. But the buyer landscape has fragmented — mass retailers are dedicating aisle space to collectibles, specialty retail is deepening, and international demand is now real revenue. The market needs a licensee that can serve all of those channels from one program.
What we're building.
A category owner in fandom. Not a manufacturer, not a licensing agent, not a design studio — the whole stack, one contract, one accountable partner. That's the "turnkey" claim. Everything on this site is engineered to prove it.
Competitive moats
Four things that are hard to copy.
10,000+ doors across every relevant channel.
Direct buyer relationships across mass, specialty, home, DTC, subscription, and international. A new licensee spends 3-5 years earning what already exists here.
Design, licensing, and factory in the same room.
Concept-to-shipping SKU in a single accountable team. Iteration cycles measured in weeks, not quarters — a compression most licensees cannot replicate without a full internal build.
Royalty economics, portfolio-durable.
Long-tail franchises (Dragon Ball, Naruto, The Office) supply steady baseline sell-through. Fast-moving new IP (JJK, Chainsaw Man, Spy × Family) provides growth. The portfolio never depends on a single hit.
One contract, not four vendors.
Rights holders and retailers get a single-throat-to-choke partner. That's not marketing — it's how the internal ops are physically structured, and it's why programs actually ship on time.
Market
A permanent category, not a moment.
Mass retailers now allocate dedicated shelf space to fandom collectibles. Specialty retail continues to deepen. International demand — especially European anime — is now committed revenue. The category is structural, not cyclical.
Recognition
Independent proof, on the record.
